I enjoyed the game when I played, but I decided to put it down because the game was way too time consuming. You could spend hours upon hours just exploring and not accomplishing anything.

We're on the blood path now
I'm having a really hard time finding quests to do, and I'm only on level 13. What's up with the lack of quests to do? On Skyrim theres like hundreds of quests; in Fallout 3 I go to whole towns and still don't find a quest to do. I just go up in a building and kill everyone and it leads to nothing

You can actually be a melee/weapon specalist in this game, VATS Is a option, Better Story, Customization, DLC, AtmosphereJust bought it yesterday
FO3 if my favorite game of last gen. The GOTY edition which tacks on all 4 or 5 of the additional DLC's makes the game 60+ hours longer depending on play style. Of course it won't be as polished as Skyrim given that it came out three years or so before Skyrim, but it's amazing. Never met anyone who didn't enjoy it.

I have the GOTY edition. I just don't understand how I do so much exploring and still have only had a handful of quests. Im trying to do more quests before I start the DLC quests.

There aren't a lack of quests in that game. At times I would have anywhere between a dozen or so quests left unfinished. And if you're walking into buildings and mowing down people indiscriminately, it's possible to that you're killing people who would otherwise be giving you side quests.

Breh if you're struggling to find side quests, they have an entire guide. I played this game back in Dec of '08 two months after it dropped and didn't have an issue with finding things to do. At times, I even got overwhelmed. Here's a guide to steer you in the right direction if you're having problems. Also, you should pick a companion or two. I recommend Dog Meat in the early going. He's overpowered and makes combat a lot easier.
