some team is going to offer him near max or the max off of the strength of free agency being weak this year and teams having an influx in cash.

1.Chicago-Iowa Connection
2.Lakers-Walton connection
3.Nets- shyt ton of money
4.Magic-Could be a good fit with Gordon
5.Blazers-Would be a good fit

are all teams I could see him going to the question really becomes will the Warriors match the offer.
I'd add the Wizards and Hawks, or at least they'll pursue him.

He's one of the those rare cases where high BBIQ (and just high IQ in general), great work ethic and great talent doesn't translate into anything on the court. Spoken with him a few times and dude is one of the smartest cats in the league but you're exactly right, his biggest weakness is he overthinks EVERYTHING. If he had the BBIQ of Waiters he'd be a better player than he is now - which is a sad thing to say.

Still think the Warriors will/should resign him if he demands the max?

I don't believe my argument was ever about GS giving him the max, it was more centered around Barnes v Ezeli (I did say depending on how he played and what success GS had in the PS), who was more replaceable and who was more important. As average as Barnes has been, Ezeli has been worse and unless they can retain Barnes at a reduced price, then they just need to let him go. Same goes for Ezeli.

Agreed, Ezeli has been worse, but I think that actually makes it more likely they resign him since his value has taken a hit. They might say f*ck both of ya'll and take a run at Bismack.:ohhh:

he'll be fine. I'm telling yall the New Orleans Pelicans need to grab him, Jamal Murray in the draft and call it a day.

Murray and Barnes if done right could be a Lowry/Derozan type tandem with better shooting. Add Anthony Davis to the mix. Ajinca in a Tyson Chandler type role and keep Jordan Hamilton. Use Tyreke as the 6th man once Murray has developed and there you have it...a solid team to build around that could probably challenge Minnesota in ,3 years
