Lol I've heard this excuse for black people choosing PWI's my entire life and it really is mind boggling that is such a readily accepted excuse. That tells you how deep the psychological trauma of Jim Crow and slavery runs.

Exactly. What happens at PWI's is you have a "country club" atmosphere of black folks who are in the greeks, BSA etc. The "cool" kids so to speak. If you ain't in that space ..You that weird negro with no black friends. This is why HBCU's are needed. That "weird" negro will be able to hang with other loner type blacks and feel comfortable and included in a predominantly black world. That self esteem manifests itself in other aspects of ones life.

this is very true. I went to a HBCU and my brother went to a PWI. He was lucky he was cool with the cool kids, cause he told me stories of the black kid that didn't hang out with them, and it was some mega depressing shyt. Even a weirdo at a HBCU can be getting it in with the hoes if he acts stable. lol

HBCUs represent about 3% of colleges in the U.S. but enroll 12% of all Black college students and produce 23% of all Black college graduates. Remarkably, this small group of colleges confers 40% of all STEM degrees and 60% of all engineering degrees earned by Black students. They also educate half of the country’s Black teachers and 40% of all Black health professionals. And they do this with much less funding support than that of traditionally White institutions.

Again all these people employed aren't having some tough time in the professional world because of their education. It's not some fukking rocket science. If anything white people need to be taught what you are kicking because it is them that need to understand under a professional setting that they're different races and your silly off-beat cac humor, black-face halloween party humor don't cut it ..You really do sound like a white male.
