Two things can be right here: Flores had to go, and it doesn't look like McDaniels is the guy either. And because the league is completely dedicated to the nerd analytics aesthetic that McDaniels is the product of it's gonna take some time before the media starts questioning him. Anyone else and we'd be having a conversation about a "new voice" and "needs someone to get them to the next step." I'm not saying he'd be fired after this season if he was black(er?) but the whispers would start.
Is it Mike McDaniels holding them back or Tua?![]()
Dunno how to call it. Tua had an amazing season, the stats are great etc. Turning into a pumpkin in -30 windchills wouldn't be a red flag in of itself, but last year he missed the playoffs with an injury. That's two post seasons where he either wasn't available or didn't show up. Ultimately it's easier to get worse at QB than to get better at QB. I don't see a path where Miami has any other options. Unless someone is gonna argue taking a QB like Bo Nix or Michael Penix at the end of the 1st round is an improvement. It's not...
Bruh, this fukkin guy. The defense was solid during that win streak. Flores defense stunk? Hows this years defense doing?
Mcdaniels hired his coaches, traded for Tyreek and the offense is still meh. Take the L with this stupid ass thread.
He basically did last night. No one in our fanbase wants Flores back dude.
Tua just finished top 5 in a bunch pf qb stat categories what exactly was he right about?
Yall tagging me like we had a 1 win season and Tua played like Bryce young or something
Once again firing Flores was the right decision, we haven’t gone to the playoffs in back to back years in a long as time. What was this guy right about????
We gonna be alright, we have a good coach and I personally believe we have a bright future.
Top 5 got you 7 points last night, and a bunch of noodle arm throwsWhat was flores right about?
Back to back playoff appearances for the first time in years
Qb top five in a bunch of statistical categories
Why should I still want Flores as the dolphins head coach other than yall caping for a black man who don’t fukk with black people like that? Remember what he did to Kenny stills cause I do
Yall in here talking shyt like we the panthers or something![]()

We know exactly how to call it, we've seen this exact scenario play out for the Chiefs with Alex Smith and Rams with Goff. Good QBs that are accurate and decisive and lead productive offenses while winning games, but your teams playoff success is capped with them at the helm and you're not gonna get over the hump until you upgrade.

Fools gold...
He was 1-5 vs teams who made the playoffs and his numbers were noticeably down in those games.
Dolphins beat up and compiled stats on bad teams. Everybody was saying Tyreek was MVP and his numbers were pedestrian vs every good team except the Cowboys.
Dolphins were frauds.
