I hated the pre trilogy cause it said fukk continuity and tried to 1 up the OG in every way. All of Sidious apprentices were bossed up as fukk. Maul was a beast fighter and Dooku had force lightning while Vader had astma. fukkin R2-D2 could fly n shyt. U know how helpful that wouldve fukking been for luke?!?!?

Exactly. Anikan was at the HEIGHT of his arrogance, plus Obi-Wan trained Anikan, he had the advantage of knowing all of his maneuvers.

That's still the best Lightsaber battle of the Saga in my opinion.

The Mace Windu-Palpatine battle was bad. Those close ups are simply TERRIBLE. But if you watch the Clone Wars cartoon Mace Windu was a supreme badass who practiced the Vaapad style. Mace and Yoda were the only two Jedi who would've had a chance at sonning Palpatine.

Playing this game called KOTOR 2 and it puts all of that shyt light vs dark side shyt into perspective. They don't portray as good vs evil as much as the films do. Kreia be dropping gems.

In the behind the scenes on Ep 1 he admitted he was lazy with the script and just wrote "they fight" for all the fight scenes.

I imagine the sidious fight went something like this:

lucas: ok we need to have a windu/palpatine fight here.

producer: how do we set that up?

lucas: have windu come and arrest him

producer: would windu really show up alone to face a powerful sith lord?

lucas: you're right. Let's throw in like five jedi. Make sure to get the green guy with the head thingy.

producer: so how do you plan to shoot this six-man closed quarters battle?

lucas: I'll have to get up off this chair for that won't I? Let's just kill them off in the beginning
