Games on android phones are the worse. Since they pretty much let any apps get into their store, you will have these simplistic apps with popup adds every 2 minutes. They also eat up RAM and data.

Imagine paying $1100+ for a high end device but having a problem with paying $10-15/month for the warranty/repair service and having to use 3rd party parts with no guarantee.
Options:
1. Get AppleCare/+
2. Get an Amex card that covers accidental drops/losses with a $50 deductible. (Some banks offer cards that come with phone coverage too)
There's no reason to be out here naked.
The hassle of dealing with repair shops is a waste of time.. I can take my shyt to apple have them give a new one in less than an hour.

Both iPhone and Samsung/Android phones all use one end which are USB-C for the brick.

You can't take them to Apple right now due to COVID. Even before that, you had to schedule an appointment. Repair shops take-up the slack and provide warrantied repairs...... except the latest models because Apple won't sell parts or software to fix the devices they manufacture.
