I couldn’t “afford” to give the album a chance back then since you pretty much had to buy albums so I wasn’t gonna take a chance on it off the strength of one song plus I was a hip hop head for the most part…crazy that it never occurred to me to go back and check it out after all these years tho

i read online that the bat is a reference to the Bacardi logo, and the rabbit in a hat is a girl... or a 'trick'
i learned recently that skee-lo's first LP was self produced... i wonder what he used
