The dap encourages good posting/threads, where the dislike/slap would encourage the opposite. We don't need an influx of shytty threads.

how'd that kill my argument? i merely offered it as a counter to the idea that a "slap" would make people create shytty threads. at the very least, there should be an option for us to let shytty posters know that their threads/posts are trash. the rep shyt isn't enough, imo.

shytty posters are usually posting shyt for shyts and giggles. The best way to let them know they suck is ignoring their posts totally. any reaction positive or negatively validates their post.
