Durant has never been this good.

Jordan was never this good offensively either.

Nah.

Durant's MVP season is definitely as good as Curry, he just had a much worse team especially with Westbrook missing almost half the season.

Put Healthy Durant on these Warriors, he'd probably be shooting 35 on 65 TS% and such too.

Durant's MVP was not as good as this season.

Even with Durant on the Warriors, they would not be performing like this.

32 on 63% TS VS 32.5 on 70% TS
7.4 REB vs. 4.9 REB
5.5 AST (3.5 TOV) vs. 6 AST (3.6 TOV)

Curry is better but the GS team is ten times better than OKC who was being coached by SCOTT BROOK and had Westbrook out.

MVP Durant was definitely comparable to Curry now, IMO. If Chef keeps this up then I'll give him the nudge but I think Durant is easily as good

Pretty much he said the Splash Bros. are dead this year. And came to realize nobody could stop his shot. Thus the bitth of the take over.

When this nikka pulls up from five feet behind the arc, and splashes three's in perfect rhythm like he's taking elbow jumpers, the fukk do you do? He can't be guarded without seriously compromising the rest of your defense, what Curry is doing is Shaq like dominance from the perimeter, and I don't think anyone could have predicted this, I certainly won't front like a saw this coming. Curry is insane.

This. Look, I don't give a fukk about stats usually. But when a player like Steph is doing what he is doing at his height and lack of athletic ability, it's easily the most impressive thing I have ever seen in all my years watching basketball.

I appreciate his game more than the flash of high flying wings, or the physical dominance of interior players. The skill set is unfukking real.

Steph has the potential to be top 5 all time. Kobe and lebron ain't getting there. Stans of those players just haven't come to the reality that their favorite player will be surpassed by this lightskin dude when it's done.

Thats you thinking this team will stay together for 4+ years...not happening.

He'll have to go through tough times just like Kobe, Bron on the other hand is set through the rest of his career.

So you neg me for saying I take Jordans 37 on almost 50%. Over Steph's season.

But you say KD MVP's season a couple years ago is better??????
Cause of his TEAM???

These dudes are really running with this Steph>>>>Jordan shyt on here.

Acting like I'm crazy because I STILL would prefer Jordans best seasons and using that BS formula known as TS% to try and make Steph's season being better a fact :mjlol:

nikkas don't realize that MJ averaged like 33ppg on like 52% shooting over a 10 year period (if u take away his 2nd season where he broke his leg and only played 16 games, still scored 63 in the playoffs). That shyt is unheard of. How Steph is automatic from 3, MJ was the same from mid range and was by far the best finisher in the league.

Low key though, Steph is automatic from mid range too :francis:

I knew hed be one of the best 3 pt shooters ever.i didnt think he was gonna be THE greatest 3 pt shooter that ever lived

I also didnt realize hed essentislly become my nephew on nba 2k16 rookie settings good
Man look. Even after last season I was still thinking in my head of some of the greatest 3 point shooters ever like Ray Allen and Reggie Miller. No matter what the numbers said, I just had a hard time believing he was better. fukk it. He's the best shooter I've ever seen. It's unbelievable.

And his range. :banderas:

I just read this: "Steph actually shoots better the further out he goes. He leads the league in attempts from beyond 25 feet by a wide margin with -- get this -- 8.1 shots per game. And he's hitting more than half of them. Here's how efficiently (in raw shooting percentage) the top 10 takers of beyond-25-footers shoot them." source: 5 charts that show how much better Stephen Curry is than everyone else

:damn:

If he crosses the half court line, you know everyone on the other team is instantly like :lupe::whoa:

I'm trying to tell y'all steph really ain't that skilled offensively like some of the great scorers like mj, Kobe, AI even penny.

It's just he's such a threat from three he can easily have defenders at his will. They're always jumping at him expecting him to shoot at any moment. Steph is smart so he's just reacting to them and hitting em with the same fakes, string of moves to set up the 3/mid range or he can just blow by you if play him close up at like 25 feet :beli:

On top of that he gets almost half of his 3s off random broken plays or transition where teammates are always looking for him and know he'll be waiting for the open shot

And then there's the pick and roll which Goldenstate has perfected.

And their ball movement is amazing and it usually ends up at curry for the open shot.

So my point is that.
Currys really good at the 3 so that makes the rest of his offensive game so much easier. He appears more skilled than he really us. M It ain't like he's breaking you down in a Iso, or post or dunking over 7 footers.

He's hitting like 5-8 3s any given night. That's 15-24 points. When a player is this hot from downtown, the rest just comes easy.

You ever notice how easy it is to get past a defender when your 3 point shot is hot? That's what it's like for curry right now all day every day.

Defenders fear his shot so it opens up the rest of his game.

Tell me how good would curry be if there was no 3 point line?

Jordan would still average 30+
Kobe and AI would too.

Penny could politically get 30 on you just using post moves.

Take away currys 3s and give him some bums as teammates and how well rounded offensively is he really?

He's not even in the same category as Jordan or even Kobe. :manny:
