all these posts and we forget the main part.... these new nikkas write all this shyt. they go on 5 minute verses, with time for pauses, props, crowd and crew participation, etc... no beat. fukking up words and lines, repeating shyt
back when em was battling you MIGHT have 1 minute, no stops. rap to a beat and if they even thought you wrote that shyt, you was booed off the stage. shyt the other artist would start making signals to the crowd like you was writing on a notepad and they'd boo you quick.
now give em 3 months to sit there and write a 5 min verse like these dudes, you really think he couldn't come up with some shyt and hold his own. where you think diz got his whole rap style from?
Diz is okay..hes got a dope flow, he is not an elite battle rapper...but he doesnt SAY shyt in his battles.

Like he won't get time to prepare his own. If he can craft a near classic album he can definitely write out a complete battle with preparation, it's the same thing as far as balancing what you need

Exactly, people are acting like Eminem's consciousness doesn't bear the fruits of years of labor working his craft. As if he hasn't surmounted himself past tribulations bigger than these dude's whole lives.
Everything that man worked for in life is validated, you can see the terror come over Dizaster's face whenever his shortcomings are mentioned. You can hear the overcompensation as he describes his music outside of the battling circuits.

Eminem battled legendary battle rapper Marvwon and got him.... this wasnt no written sh1t for the movie... they really got it on
