If you know anything about Birmingham, you know that white flight happened and all the cities around Birmingham exist pretty much because white folks didn't want their kids in school with black kids. So something like this is par for the course in schools outside the Birmingham city system.

Some places like the blackbelt white folks can't get away from black folks so schools are more even, but they still will try schemes like this. You find out just how much of a scam school systems are living in America. It's meant to keep people in line and create wage slaves

Bet he loved red states until it affected his ability to eat. They always do. They never see anything wrong with those politics until they affect the wrong people.

This is not only about the south but the red states right to work laws.

You're going to have a hard time fighting that down here because that's how they attract all of the foreign companies that they do. All of the car companies, manufacturing companies, etc. Name an industry and I bet there's something tied to it in a right to work state. Amazon didn't even want unions in their warehouse down here. Target either. These are American companies not based in the South.

If we're going to take a look at it, we take a look at the whole thing. It's all tied together.

To be fair don't know where he is from or his personal views (I haven't seen any other videos of his) He may have been trying to take advantage of the low cost of living, teachers don't make crazy money like that .

And let’s add racist economic attrition to this. So a number of schools down here are funded by how many students they serve. Down in Mobile, the inner city schools enrollments are capped for the majority black schools at between 6-800. The white schools in the suburbs regularly have well over 12-1300 students. So that means more funding, and, their principals make more money as principals are paid by how many students their schools serve.

The school I worked at, my first year we had a stabbing in the bathroom, the next year we had a shooting where a girl shot two boys. When the shots went off, I locked the door and pulled a hammer out of my desk (just in case), but we were sitting ducks. Why? Because our school was designed in 1980 and the classrooms have tiny windows at the top that have burglar bars on the outside. So there is no escape out of the windows. Lord forbid a fire happens. Not to mention we had rats that would regularly interrupt classes. The infrastructure was falling apart, not to mention gross mismanagement of funds donated by alumni.

We have to go to this Advanced Placement training in this town called Trussville outside of Alabama, and I drive to the campus in awe. Hewitt-Trussville High School looks like a damn college campus. Students have a damn lounge, the football team has their own nutritionist, no graffiti, still had lockers, basically had an environment conducive to learning.

So what I am saying is that even in the 48th state ranked educationally, racism further skewers the numbers and the divide between the haves and have nots grows every year.

It’s about to get even worse now that they can take public dollars to Christian private schools. This might be the death of traditional public school systems in Alabama

You know that in the state the school districts are set by the county or city right?
You do know that the biggest cry in the DNC areas is for there to be caps on student and class room sizes so more teachers can be hired and they can claim a lower student to teacher ration. You do realize that in your conservative suburbs they don't care about teacher rations more than effective teaching so thats why ou generally get that split right?

You are trying to blame DNC and teacher union policies on racism, but don't understand the cause of what you hate.
You blame student safety, which would be the same anywhere you shelter in place, baracade the door and wait for police, on schools built in the 80s, as if that changes the protocol, but not on the aint shyt students who are bringing guns to the school, the parents of these kids, or the first step in defense, failure of metal detectors right? LOL.

Trussville isn't outside of Alabama, you are supposedly a teach, but don't know the difference between being outside of Birmingham vs being outside of the state of Alabama. SMH

Any analysis of what you are saying shows why most of alabama schools, especially in black and DNC areas aren't shyt. You have personnel that are largely ignorant and DNC aligned that care more about trying to score political points and teacher union policy objectives than rationaly addresing the root cause of the issues.
