That's exactly what's been happening. People are being accused, with legal documents to show to the arresting agents in the moment, are being ignored and getting tossed into the system anyway. The burden is on the families to prove things after the fact.
I looked at tickets. They 800+ a pop. Hopefully people not coming the tickets will drop
They've been making plenty of mistakes with zero consequences. I just read a story about a legal Chilean foreigner being arrested by ICE, leaving her daughter abandoned in the streets.
