I live downtown and in Mt Greenwood. Hang out in Harvey, Harlem/Irving Park Plaza, Hyde Park, Bronzeville, Lincoln Park and Chatham.

So far, I haven’t noticed anything at all but none of these areas have many Latinos except The HIP.

Yes, we all do. That is what may need to happen for the rest to understand what we’ve been going through; so that next time, when they have the chance to actually avoid this, they will.

Sometimes people can only learn through the experience of painful consequences. For years, my people tried to warn them, and they would not listen. In fact, they claimed it was our own fault we were suffering under the system. Maybe now, they’ll finally understand.

I personally have no empathy for groups of people who were warned of the Evil, and choose it anyway thinking it would most heaviliy fall on the shoulders of my people.

Funny, because the other groups were perfectly fine with Black Americans being harassed and tortured collectively, as long as they were relatively left alone by the system. In fact, other groups when treated poorly would invariably compare their treatment to how we are treated, demonstrating how Black Americans are treated is seen as the litmus test for poor treatment in the US.

There is a little truth in all of it. Broadly they are not coming for us. In the coming months though when black people have horror stories of shyt they been through, though, the response better not be to post news about blacksites and corrupt Chicago officials as a response. Most people ain't living here and haven't seen ICE randomly cutting up. This is different and its sad people won't admit that much.

The first place to get swarmed with choppers in an early morning raid caused a defense force for why it wasn't a big deal.

First, remember the Superintendent that he put up. Once more information was put out, that came out to be a dud. So I will wait to see what comes of this, before I respond about it. The video says he is a US citizen, but then again last time the Superintendent was suppose to be a US citizen too.
