Nah read some more ...they fukked up on this one
Plenty of immigrants overstayed and were able to get green cards and citizenship without leaving the country

They vetted this dude before hiring him with the help of the Federal government

"According to a statement from the village, Bojovic presented a valid work authorization issued by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services at the time of his hiring, a full background check was conducted, and the village confirmed that his immigration status allows him to carry a firearm while on duty.

"The bottom line is that all information we received from the federal government indicated that Officer Bojovic is legally authorized to work in the United States as a police officer. Clearly, without that authorization, the Village would not have hired him," the statement said.

"Additionally, the Village has not received any notice from any federal or state agency that his work authorization status has ever been revoked," the statement added."

They are just trying to fukk with the Governor

NAH....
THIS WAS THEIR "HELP FROM THE GOVERNMENT"

"At the time of his hire, Officer Bojovic presented the Village with a Work Authorization Card, which was issued by the federal government's U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. The card was valid and recently renewed."

WORK AUTHORIZATION DOESNT
EQUAL GREEN CARD OR LEGAL RESIDENCY.

THAT SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT
HAD WORK PERMITS ALSO EVEN
THOUGH HE HAD BEEN IN THE
COUNTRY ILLEGALLY FOR 25 YRS.

a work permit doesn't grant any immigrant the right to carry a gun
only permanent residents can do that
:comeon:

Norris did not show a work permit...he applied as a US citizen..only DL and social security card and he was in

Stop making up shyt

"Norris said when Roberts applied for the superintendent position, he stated that he was a citizen and provided a driver's license and a Social Security card as documentation. A law firm reviewed the information presented by Roberts and did not raise any concerns about his eligibility to work, she said."

Your ignorance is dangerous. Warren King wasn't an assailant. He was a Black kid shopping at Walgreens. Claiming "he ran, therefore reasonable suspicion" shows a complete misunderstanding of the law.
All it shows is that dude is sticking to his confirmation bias of being ignorant as fukk about whats going on just like all of these both siders on this board

I was told by a young man in my family who just got out the Nat'l Guard that, in general, local police aren't held to the same standard other various law enforcement/ military agencies are. Seems like he was right. I ain't heard of nobody getting their ass beat yet and some of these illegals be od'ing.

They killed a man and shot another woman 5 times just in the last few weeks. There are anonymous videos of them body slamming and beating the shyt out of people.

Isn't the jury still out on this? Given law enforcement's history of exaggerating or distorting facts to justify force, it makes no sense to take their claims at face value.

Bodycam footage conflicts with DHS account of Chicago woman's shooting by Border Patrol, lawyer says.

CHICAGO, Oct 8 (Reuters) - A woman who was shot multiple times by U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents did not ram them with her car and had her weapon stored in her purse at the time of the incident, according to her lawyer, contradicting accounts by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security that described the shooting as an act of self-defense.
Marimar Martinez, 30, was charged on October 5 with assaulting a federal officer with a deadly or dangerous weapon after she followed a vehicle driven by border patrol agents with her car in the Brighton Park neighborhood on Chicago's Southwest Side.

The vehicles made contact, and a federal agent fired their weapon at Martinez, a U.S. citizen, according to a criminal complaint.
DHS said Martinez was armed with a gun, but Martinez's lawyer, Christopher Parente, said that she never brandished it.

While prosecutors allege that Martinez drove her car at the border patrol agents' vehicle and struck it, Parente said Martinez would show at trial that the federal agents actually struck her.
Parente said footage showed the driver of the border patrol vehicle turn the steering wheel to the left, toward Martinez's vehicle. After the vehicles made contact, the agents stepped out and one fired at Martinez.
"Law enforcement was forced to deploy their weapons and fired defensive shots at an armed U.S. citizen," DHS said in its statement.
Parente said Martinez left her gun in her purse on her passenger seat.
"This gun was never in her hand," Parente said. Martinez holds a license to carry a concealed weapon in the state of Illinois, he added.
Parente said Martinez was shot five times by the border patrol agent. She drove away to an auto repair shop, where she called 911.

DHS initially misstated the location of the incident as Broadview, a Chicago suburb where protesters have scuffled with federal agents outside an immigration processing center. DHS also said Martinez drove herself to the hospital, but Parente and U.S. prosecutors said an ambulance transported her from the repair shop.

According to the criminal complaint filed in the case, the government says that the convoy of vehicles followed the CBP agents “closely” and pursued them “aggressively”. They claim that Martinez and Ruiz drove into and struck the CBP vehicle, “leading to a temporary loss of control” of the car.

“After being struck and boxed in by the Martinez and Ruiz Vehicles,” prosecutors say an agent exited the vehicle. The complaint alleges that Martinez then drove her car northbound in the direction of the agent, at which point, the agent “proceeded to fire approximately five shots from his service weapon at the driver of the Martinez Vehicle”.

The complaint alleges that Martinez fled the scene and was later found at a repair shop about a mile away. She was transported to hospital and treated for gunshot wounds.

Federal officials with the Department of Homeland Security said Martinez was armed with a semi-automatic weapon at the time of the incident and had allegedly doxed – or published sensitive identifying information about – agents online the week prior. However, the criminal complaint does not mention her being armed.

During a detention hearing on Monday, the Chicago Sun-Times reported that Martinez’s defense attorney, Christopher Parente, challenged the government’s account of the incident, and claimed that the body-camera footage shows an officer saying to Martinez, “Do something, bytch,” before firing at her.

Parente at the hearing also said that the footage showed the officer driving the vehicle suddenly “turn the wheel to the left” then jump out and “just start shooting”, according to the Chicago Tribune.

“What I do know is – it was Ms Martinez who has seven holes in her body from five shots from this agent, who fired within seconds of getting out of this vehicle,” Parente said, as the Tribune reported.

The body camera footage has not been made public.

At the same hearing, the Chicago Tribune reported, assistant US attorney Sean Hennessy described Martinez and Ruiz’s actions as “extremely dangerous and extremely reckless”.

The Tribune reported that Hennessy also said that the body-camera footage also recorded agents saying: “We’re getting boxed in! We gotta get out of here! She’s going to make contact,” before the car was indeed struck.

According to the Tribune, Hennessy also mentioned in the hearing that Martinez had a loaded gun in her purse at the time of the incident. He reportedly said that she has a concealed-carry permit and acknowledged that she did not brandish the gun during the interaction.

Yeah, chinese and white but was raised by only my mom (chinese)

Im on record as showing up damn near anytime maga degenerate activity pops up in my city, even when most of the people on here are saying that it’s not their business. Im not advocating for violence, but im just saying that these new age gestapos need to understand that not everyone will keep being cool with their types showing up and running around without consequences once they start targeting people other than hispanics. We’re a society that is armed to the teeth, and while a lot of people are passive now, we do have a very good track record of stomping racists back into their holes once we’ve decided that we’ve reached the end of our patience with them.
Ok, so, in context, your comment makes perfect sense. You, of Chinese and white heritage, will not stand out in a crowd nor will you inspire an overly aggressive response. That is a privilege we are not afforded.

You understand that the only reason Trump hasn't invoked the Insurrection Act is bc bp are exercising an AMAZING amount of restraint, right? Even while everybody on the internet is begging for us to self- immolate? This isn't passivity, it's a mutually agreed on strategy: we're gray rocking the government.

:skip: Did yall know that the president of the Heritage Foundation has a phd in American history? We were the subject of his dissertation.

His dissertation examined the cultural construction of the Louisiana slave community from the 1790s to the 1830s, including the influence of the transatlantic, trans-Caribbean, and interstate slave trades, the role of the Catholic Church as an agent of colonial Spain, and the contrasting demographic structures of New Orleans, the coastal sugar parishes, and the Mississippi River-adjacent cotton lands.[10]

He thought he knew us well enough to predict our responses. We're proving that he doesn't.
