I’m FOR black people in all instances mentioned and so my comment carries the full weight that the qualifier you’re dancing around warrants, I’m a black American, born in Louisiana with parents who are both descendants of African slaves, brought to the US to work on plantations.
Both of my parents are black. So I can save you some work, both of my parents have a non black parent and a black parent, but both are black, were raised by black families and grew up in black neighborhoods. Same for me. My experience has been the black experience.

yeah i caught that too. here she is, basically an immigrant herself, and no doubt the beneficiary of many programs that were set aside for them, talking about how "we" can absorb these people into our communities.
now we have innocent FBA getting caught up in sweeps meant for them, because our communities were forced to "absorb" those people, because of agreements people like her made that the rest of us knew nothing about. smh.
