It's basically impossible for Dems to win the Senate anytime soon. And even if they win the house back and impeach Trump again it's kind of pointless. You'd never get enough Republicans to convict.
I'm not saying he doesn't deserve to be impeached on principle but it would just go the same as last time. Elections have consequences. MFers should've voted in November.

It’s safe to say, anyone that voted for Kamala last term is revoting democrat next time… because she was 100% correct and easily the most qualified between both parties. Unfortunately she was black and a woman in this country (and most).
There is literally no other option now, since we can now SAFELY assume that if Trump lasts all 4 years (I give it less than 2), then he will attempt a 3rd term. His ego and delusions are at that point as of now.
It is also safe to say that SOME Republicans and MAGtards might change their vote but they will do so privately and in shame.
BUT.. one thing to focus on now though is independents… 71% of independents disapprove of Trump last poll I saw. He will definitely lose them unless they somehow all magically get rich off this chaos

Incidents like the one in OP will continue to happen, as Trump feels above the law and above the courts. Even some white Trump voters who want undocumented people returned to their home countries can see where this is headed, and dont like it.
