manufacturing is one of the least stable industries in this country as well. doesn matter if you have competition of all the factories are closing. Should focus on creating jobs before worrying about who fills them.

Unemployment rate for construction workers is under 2% in half the country. With means we would probably have a labor shortage in most of the country if we got rid of them.

Also, do you know how the unemployment rate excludes those who are no longer seeking work, because they have given up? So what you are told the unemployment rate, is not what it actually is. So a 2% construction unemployment rate is just counting those who are seeking employment in construction, not those who have given up trying, because of the lack of jobs in construction.

I didn't lie , you simply choose to present your point in way that attempts to make it seem like i am. 70% of the USA agricultural workforce is immigrants.
30% of construction jobs are immigrants, of that 30% 12% is illegals. immigration and how it relates to construction is a none issue. You chose it deliberately in order to fear monger. and presented your facts in such a way to support that attempt at fear mongering. Construction is not going to impacted significantly by this, Agriculture is the primary point the focus on. Thats why you ignore my response downplaying your fears and instead are trying to make the argument about my "lie"

They've been rounding up Asians in Hawaii for the past month or so, but zero information leaked out unless neighbors happened to be home.

The ones posted here have criminal activity, but the ones I've heard of being rounded up in Hawaii were citizens, living here for 20+ years, business owners, etc. No clear reason for abduction.
