Really don't see whats the big deal with his movie career?

Do people really expect a 40 year old man to only have gangbanging roles or something, so he is in kids movies, how does that make him corny or less respected?

because many hip hop fans can't separate the two....in their mind, it just doesn't make sense how the dude who made Straight Outta Compton could ever possibly make something like Are We There Yet?

some are still amazed that these gangsta rappers can be loving fathers and be married.

I wouldn't look down on Cube for the kids movies, dude was just making shyt his kids could watch. Fine, whatever. I'm more disappointed by the stupid beer commercials and the "lovable tough guy" image he has going now, shyt just rubs me the wrong way...

can't fukk with his solo output tho, dude is a certified GOAT candidate

I don't know why net fans hated on or mocked cube for doing those childrens movies,
Cube isn't and didn't claim to be the most gangstar street nikka out there but even the most certified gangstas nikkas got love for there kids and joke and laugh around with them.

the video for We Be Clubbin' was on some futuristic Judge Dredd " aint no way in the world this shyt had anything to do with the players club" type shyt.

the concept for the "we be clubbin" video was from a old school 70s or 80s movie i forgot the name of it.

edit: its not a movie it was this...
