ice cube was the first rapper i ever loved and really felt. it wasnt just doing dope music, but someone you wanted to identify with even though the stories he told as far as gangsta shyt you wasnt anywhere near a part off . real talk, this dudes music, especially The Predator, helped me get through some tough times. and yet even i kind of underrate him. i guess i bought into the ny centric form of rap thinking, but pound for pound, cube is probably my goat rap artist. he has challengers to that title, but let just celebrate cube for now.
