black people are broke. You can take away our student loan debt and we’re still broke. Other groups can use savings from loan forgiveness for investment while we’re using it on basic necessities. This is making the wealth gap worse.

Large percentage of Black folks are using that money for closing costs, furniture, appliances and outstanding debt. This program helps us, but it helps others more if we’re talking about wealth generation.

The wealth gap isn't really increased by people making 87k. It's the richest 1 percent of the country who own over half the equity in the country.

Other's may benefit more from this than us but that's not the same as it not benefitting us. We're still a small portion of the population, that's how the numbers are going to work out majority of the time. Reparations are Black specific but not poverty and wealth equality overall.


Besides, Biden was never the revolutionary candidate. The choice between him and Trump is one of Obama era fiscal policy vs unchecked capitalism. Trump has already cut the taxes but hasn't really cut spending which the GOP desperately wants to do.
