• Increase the federal minimum wage to $15 across the country, disproportionately benefitting women and people of color who make up the majority of workers earning under $15 an hour. I guess there are people that are under the impression a bill dealing with black issues, and black issues only and nothing else would get passed by Congress. Its not like there is a stimulus bill on the table that is being held up by both sides trying to add/remove things to the bill that isn't necessarily directed related to Covid relief. But they are smarter than us I guess, if they don't vote for Biden because of his "Lift Every Voice" plan they are going to get people in office that will pass a black only specific plan.

People don't realize this but when you're in a coalition party you can't ignore the reality of gravity when you're trying to pass laws.

Theres a lot of democrats in swing and conservative districts who won't nationally support this.
