Lil Eazy E Responds To Ice Cube Comments About His Absence From NWA Biopic

Earlier this week Ice Cube explained why Eazy E’s son was left out of N.W.A. Biopic, via AHH.

The news of the casting – which we announced last month – confirmed that despite Cube’s son playing him, Lil Eazy would not take the role of his father.

Now via his official facebook page, Lil E has responded with his feelings.

I have been asked by so many reporters for my thoughts on Ice Cube speaking on my unpolished acting, yet he has his son playing him and his son has never been in a major role. I am going to tell you exactly how I feel about this and my on questions to Cube and production.

First off, I feel a lot could not act to par in their 1st role or 1st time acting in a major movie, but the rawness worked for raw movies like Boys in the Hood AND this NWA movie should be the same …..and how I feel about acting the hospital scene and things of my father being in his death bed or beyond what the movie is based on which is NWA and NOT Eazy E’s STORY as the explanation of why I never got the role makes it sound out to be which couldnt be any farther from the truth, but you feel different about things that people do in this bizz…. so it is what is.

I respect Ice Cube to the utmost……BUT, I wonder why production would tell the young actor playing my father to stay away from me???? AND why wont production film in the original house where NWA started instead of another Compton house???? You would think that respect would be given to do so, but like I said, a lot of things are weird in this bizz on what is said and done …..BUT….THE ONE THING I AM BEST AT AND IS NOT AN ACT FOR ME IS TO STAY REAL AND BE STAYING TRUE TO MINE.

Shut up . . this is a movie that is meant to depict and exemplify the story of your father and you're unqualified ass wants to make it a hood movie based on your own limitations . . as if they are to set the bar for the proper measure of limitations for the rest of the film

thats what it needs to be.

look at "notorious". yea, the blatant ducktales hurt the movie, but what really hurt it was that it was too hollywood. thats why "notorious" was lacking. it didnt capture the essence of anything. it was like watching a movie full of hill harpers playing in "in too deep". remember how out of place he was in that movie?

now, im not vouching for lil eazy. he might have been horrible. but you cant refute that point in the bolded.

Think Four Seasons . . James Brown . . Jimi Hendrix. There's a reason you see all of these movies set on recording artists now, the format isn't going to change

That's weak. You can't say that then hire your own son. Ice Cube led an interesting life too....you had a huge fallout with NWA, was the only one to call out Jerry Heller and you went on to be a superstar rapper turned actor on your own. Can your non-actor son play that part? :usure:

Cube just basically said he is the same all the time and you don't need a actor with range to play him:manny:...Now thing back to what you've seen from Cube his whole career,is this nikka lyin:usure:? Happy or said Cube basically the same nikka:heh:....and unfortunately Eazy E aint here:to:....it might look bad but Cube aint gotta explain shyt cuz its the NWA movie,he can pick whoever he want to play him:manny:....If Eazy was alive he might not have picked his son to play him either,if he would've been the Eazy we all knew and loved he woulda went for whoever was gon bring azzes to the seats, probaly woulda tried to talk Will Smith into playing em:banderas:and told Lil Eazy to:camby:
