Nas went for dolo on Ether too but it was Mano E Mano whereas Cube is right he went up against FOUR MC’s including MC Ren who was a great writer and MC his damn self.

He also called out Jerry Heller.

Cube got a great argument can’t lie

Def Ironic considering Common basically dismantled Westside Connection dolo.

Would've been dope if Ren could have a chance for a proper response though against Cube, Cube dodged one there.

All three have good arguments:

Hit ‘em Up, straight venomous and Pac unleashing on those he thought betrayed him after he was locked up. I know Cube said Pac had help, but that was part of the diss. “Y’all nikkas ain’t even on my level. Ima let my little homies ride on you bytch made ass Bad Boy bytches.” And of course, the god tier ad libs that every diss record began to use afterwards.

No Vaseline destroyed his former group and manager one by one after they called him Benedict Arnold for leaving when he was the smart one that knew he wasn’t getting paid what he should.

Jay tried to end Nas and make him just another 90s rapper who got stuck in the 90s. Jay was the more popular rapper and Nas was coming off his worst album (at least at the time), only for Nas to come back with Ether and make Jay look like a joke

It’s facts tho , cube bodied nwa dolo & they were irrelevant afterwards

Death certificate a top 5 hip hop album too

This is all true.

After "No Vaseline", Ren said NWA never even got back in the studio again. LOL!! He said the track caused issues in the camp. Cube really did end the whole group.

"Ether" is easily a Top 3 diss track of all-time though. I always thought "Hit 'Em Up" was corny. Even E.D. from the Outlawz said it wasn't the best song. That was just anger and bitterness. The video just made it even more lame. It didn't make Pac look good. He had the wrong people advising him at the time, according to E.D. And you can tell.

It's facts cause he exposed them and got them and the manager out of the paint. "Ether" was comedy and "Hit 'Em Up" was some rah rah shyt and neither effectively ended the target's career.

Cube is one of my GOATs , top 5. But he’s trending on deep waters with these interviews as a late.

He seems mad whiny and his energy been off. Wouldn't be surprised if a divorce coming or some shyt

Hit Em Up is overrated because of the shock value of “I fk’d ur b*tch” and the empty threats Pac made throughout the song.

Ether is dope but No Vaseline is one Man dismantling a whole team with straight facts.
