Norfeast groovin…
No Vaseline a :dame: name for a diss track but it was definitely potent.

I think yall overrating the overratedness of Hit Em Up tho the first line was some atomic level explosion on Biggie’s whole playa persona. Not to mention it had a huge level of anticipation behind it like Ether did. With that said, Holla At Me is the better Pac diss track. But these three songs are the unholy trinity of rap music.

I agree with him, but can he take credit for dismantling NWA? No, they had internal division brewing over finances and everyone picked a side. Yella wasn't an Mc, Eazy regrouped. DRE blew up! Ren album was straight he just didn't haven't any appeal solo.

Probably the most non embellished diss of all time, so yeah, give him #1. But let's not act like he damaged anyone like Nas did Jay... And Pac didn't even put a chink in Big's armor if that is the criteria.

not necessarily. Like Ether didn’t end Jay, but it definitely changed him and he ain’t been the same since. That shyt dug deep into his whole persona and took him apart. Dude was legitimately the most cocky self assured arrogant rapper at his peak and after Ether dude was crying on the radio talking about “that’s vulgar”.

His whole steez changed after that, dude went into “retirement” and started spitting semi-conscious shyt, straight up identity crisis shyt, and then the whole still dropping shyt every time Nas drops thing. There’s something to be said about how it effected Jay psychologically

BUT, Cube definitely got an argument. He took apart “the worlds most dangerous rap group” dolo. Like he said, I don’t even think they made another record. He tore them apart. That’s undeniable. And his dissed were scathing

Didn't listen. Bout done with Republikkkans Most.

But.

The team that Cube bodied... there's only one rapper on the team. MC Ren.

Have you heard Ren's solo shyt?

If Ren has fans on here I will simply say that Ren is in no way close to JZ as far as solo discog. I couldn't even listen to Kizz My Black Azz but a few times before I gave up on it. And it has faded into the oblivion of time.

So to even imply that Cube slayed a bigger dragon than Nas is disingenuous AT BEST.

JZ is some peoples GOAT. Even now. I couldn't even argue with a Breh who said JZ is GOAT. He's deadly with the pen as well and he's locked horns with the greats.

Nas taking JZ down is one of the most impressive dis related feats ever.

Nas went for dolo on Ether too but it was Mano E Mano whereas Cube is right he went up against FOUR MC’s including MC Ren who was a great writer and MC his damn self.

He also called out Jerry Heller.

Cube got a great argument can’t lie
Nas called out Dame Diddy and the whole R O C gunned up and clapped quick, so you can't really use that element of the argument against Ether.

Cube supposed to feel how he feels tho, can't be mad at it.

Yea but…in theory wouldn’t the best most “vicious” diss END SOMEONE’S CAREER?
So wouldn't smutting out a fat mother fukkers wife trump that? Breaking up a marriage has to trump a group that was already breaking up disbanding no?

And if so then by that logic skeeting in the baby seat trumps anything Nas did on Ether right? And no one in their right mind is gonna say Jay won that battle.

If we're gonna judge the diss by real life consequences then the hardest diss is gonna be some drill shyt or something right? Putting 3.5 of so and so in the air and starting a tiktok dance that mocks the death of whoever right? Wouldn't that be the best diss by these metrics?

I gotta agree with this, I also think Destroy and Rebuild was a better track than Ether.
