Well considering there is no criteria-based way to gauge this stuff (Which I always felt there should be)…we are left to just using common sense based on the empirical evidence we do have to support our claims…if cultural impact and overwhelming consensus and changing the damn everyday American lexicon (lol) isn’t great evidence to support the claim that Ether is the greatest diss record ever then I don’t know what else to say champ…after that it’s just totally opinion based and real evidence becomes moot
Also, Jay-z was arguably still the biggest thing in rap at the time…the biggest and the best (pause)…and Nas, according to the vast consensus, beat shyt and blood down his leg. That’s just some more factual evidence to add to the claim..
