This is an example of the dumbing down of america that I always talk about. The foolish and I mean foolish population expects entertainers to speak on behalf of them for every issue. Take up a cause and figure out a resolution.

In the past the population only expected entertainers to stand in solidarity and financially contribute with the cause.

No one expected Ali to go down to the white house and work with nixon on how to pull troops out of Vietnam. No one expected dikk gregory to lead the civil rights movement. No one said hey Pam Grier should be the leader of the women rights movement.

And I say all of this as a life long fan of cube. For 3 decades dude has donated money to the black community in LA and put a lot of black folks to work (often employing black managers, security and folks behind the scene for his tours and movies).

The problem ain't the contract. Its the fact that he is being used as a pawn (whether by mistake or on purpose) by Trump and his folks.

Someone said in the Roland video that none of cubes contract is in the platinum plan. Well no shyt I could have told yall that 2 or 3 weeks ago. Cube plan been out for what 2 months? And the platinum plan been out for 2 or 3 weeks and was released in atlanta during trumps black trump people rally. Hell I read both plans weeks ago and knew they were nothing alike.

The optics look bad because one cube was transparent about letting the dems and the repubs see the plan....but he did not say in advance that his plan was being incorporated with Trumps plan. One of trumps flunky black sponsors tweeted it out. So cube had to hurry up and do a PR tour (brotha did like 5 interviews today) to clean this up. If his plan was being implemented (which it wasn't) he should have immediately let it be known to the public so it wouldn't come out second hand from trumps black flunky.

Next he should have only did his recent interview with roland not with some BLM person. We all know how they get down they ain't with reperations and only about getting their exposure or payday. I would have told roland he wants the interview. Then I want 15 minutes of time with only you and no one else. No panel and no other person. So I can get my points across.

Finally either cube is co-opted, didn't do his research or trump flunkies gave him a different platinum contract....but there is no excuse for him to not know that none of his contract (not one bullet) was implemented in the platinum plan. I can not believe that a man that has looked over music contracts for 35 years and movie contracts for 25 years doesn't know that the shyt from his plan wasn't in trumps plan.

This is a man that was smart enough at 18 or 19 to know the contract that Jerry tried to get him to sign was fishy. But he doesn't know that nothing from his contract was in trumps plan. Come on now cube....look I may have been born at night, but I wasn't born yesterday.

At the end of the day...in this political climate and with this election coming up. I take what everyone says from a streaming service, app, social media or internet on my tv, tablet or phone with a grain of salt. Cause there is too much propaganda out here coming from everyone.

Its almost like the ultimate goal is put out so much disinformation and talking points to get folks so frustrated where they say fukk it I am not even going to vote.

But all of this shyt is fishy and I bet we won't even know the truth on all of this for some time. But I know this....all this shyt gonna come to light eventually whether folks were honest about their concerns or whether they were putting on a performance for a check.

For the brotha cube's sake I hope he is truely honest about his concerns. Cause if not and it comes to light he may have put a nail in his entertainment career coffin with his own nail and hammer.

Cube should of made them sign NDAs so his name not to be used during elections. The trump administration announcing during election season "we worked with Ice Cube for our plan for black america" is effectively an endorsement. Disinformation is big in politics. The platinum plan gives the trump administration chances to do what they were going to do anyway and left out key things from cube's plan.
