Biggie is much better than Cube, Cube was basic. Good but basic. Biggie was a better lyricist, better flow, far better rhythm, better albums, better voice, better songwriter/maker, more witty. Cube had a basic simple in your face style, which was cool, but he doesn't come close to the artistry of Biggie. Ready To Die is much more acclaimed than any Ice Cube album.

You say it's cause of his death, I say it's cause of his music. Lots of people have died and aren't viewed as among the great MC's, EG: Proof. Mm I don't think most people would acknowledge that, rarely hear Cube mentioned in real life as a great, occasionally I guess. Biggie didn't have a famous lyrical battle with anyone. Like the thing shows, most artists view Big as better and higher, they are obviously some of the most knowledgeable people. They know what artistry is, I saw Nas talking about various songs on Life After Death one time, My Downfall, all types of shyt, Cube was dope, but to me he wasn't even really on Big's level when it comes to artistry. No-one would say Big wasn't on Jay or Nas' level when he was alive, what is Cube doing musically now? Artists on the level of a Nas still making dope shyt.

The nikka did make songs people liked, the nikka was still an average rapper lyrically and technically. Cube actually had a movement and changed the face of hip hop... gave nikkaz like Biggie a style that he could run with... nah mean?
