my older sister (believe it or not) came home with this album when it came out. Pushin Weight was my shyt. I think I was 9 at the time.

This was a big album when I was 13 or so, 'Pushin Weight', the 'Players Club' movie, then 'Next Friday', and that 'Back Into It' track…..Cube was very visible and relevant as a rapper and actor…My favorite was 'Until We Rich', I still fukk with that track.

the whole war and peace concept was dope when he first announced it but by the time the peace disc came out cube wasn't really focused on it anymore and just dropped whatever

You can tell he was trying to do some empty-headed, light-hearted shyt and get the club popping with that album (or whatever the fukk he was trying to do lol), especially with "You Can Do It". I understand it didn't sit well with his fans, but I still like it.
