I remember a few months back, Trump met with Michigan state rep Karen Whitsett because she was a Democrat that vouched for Hydroxychloroquine. All Trump wanted was a photo op with a black woman. Karen thought she had a friend that she can bring black issues to.

Because Trump was calling for the national guard to be used to stamp out the protests in my neighborhood, and people have been dying from a disease that he allowed to develop much more rapidly and for much longer in the general population, and both labor protections and school funding has eroded in the neighborhoods I and my family live in - but you think its all just national political theatre, huh?
