Inequality increasing, development on poverty stagnated, healthcare still expensive and complex for a great portion of the nation, people still getting mad sentences for non-violent crimes, police still getting gestapo-like instructions, prices for medicine brazy, Chinese still getting the production and increasing the trade deficit, economy was proceeding quite well; just like the rest of the developed world but it was financed by steep increases in the US national debt basically on the back of loans from China and the middle east and on.
