I said I was done but I guess I got time today. Unlike you, I am very intentional with my word choice. I am not gushing or following behind. I said it is worth taking pride and recognizing the accomplishments of Black people. I don’t know anything about you and you Don’t know a damn thing about me. Because I understand the racist system we exist in I give praise to those of us able to maneuver and thrive in a structure that actively works against us.

It is very possible that she isn’t working for us. But why would I go immediately there? Looking for her deficits before recognizing her strengths? Why does she have to prove her Blackness and commitment? I wonder if whyte people have to automatically jump through hoops for your approval or do you take them at face value? Just a question and not an assumption...
