finally got a chance to really watch this, and see what happened:
first dude was putting lighter fluid into that thing, while smoking a cig. that's a great way to burn your face off
he can't get it to work, and he keeps wiping off the lighter fluid with a tissue. then he throws those tissues into a trash bag, with what looks like a bunch of other paper
he finally gets it to light, and the whole thing bursts into flames, because it's covered in lighter fluid
then in a true moment of genius, he throws the match-thing into the trash bag filled with lighter fluid soaked tissue paper
when he finally turns around and see's what he did, he decides to move it over there. probably would have been better off taking it to the kitchen or bathroom, but I can understand why he didn't want to be carrying a flaming plastic bag around the house
now instead of making a concerted effort to smother the fire, he's basically fanning the flames with boxes and what looks like a blanket
then dude leaves the room and comes back with a little bowl of water. then two bowls of water
. the water ain't doing shyt, so of course he gets some more water
shyt's a perfect example of what not to do with a fire. you need to smother that shyt and deny it oxygen. instead of getting a bowl of water, he should have got a wet towel, and just put it over the fire. don't try to beat the fire out
