This film is far to below her pay grade for her to give an opinion of it. This wasn't made to be a documentary, its a work of fiction meant to invoke feelings.....why is she reviewing movies anyways

Just finished watching this. Agu's story was bad but man my attention was on that boy striker. Commander didnt wanna give that pedo life up. Just a reflection of his power hunger. Striker sittin under that tree knowing his time is up

Movie was good but damn why the commander had to be into those little boys. At least he was abondonded in the end. On a side note how fukked up is it that u as a solider has to kill child soilders if they attack you. That has to fukk you up.

Indeed the commandant had charm/charisma/determination but what part of him was likable?
His self-serving nature was clear from the first time he was on screen; when he literally beat into Agu's head (knocking on the blue box he decided Agu should carry) that "I saved your life (so you gotta work for me)" bullshyt.That nikka was a crook off-rip and I wasn't surprised at all when it came through that he was a pedo. I was shocked, but I wasn't surprised.
This should've been the end credits scene, minus the third verse maybe.

Dude went from hero to villain in one scene .Agu completely lost his innocence after the rape scene. It completed the transformation that started with the killing of that engineering student on the road. Was he ever showed smiling after that point?
He was shown smiling a bunch of times afterwards, but it was a druggie smile which just freaked me out even more.
This Abraham kid acted his ass off for real. The end cemented his natural instinct as an actor for real, he was looking at the psychiatrist like she was an annoying kid and he was too tired an old man to even bother. That's grade A acting, no bullshyt.

Just that part made me glad they went with actual African children because other kids wouldn't be able to pull the energy off. That short kid who did the main acting on the imagination TV was too natural with it, and his sarcasm/wise-guy game was on fleek.
