I really enjoyed this movie it really made you uncomfortable while watching this
Agu chopping the guy's head off, his brother's head shot off, the woman getting raped and shot in the head all unsettling stuff. oh can't forget to mention the Idris pedo stuff saw that coming the minute a little boy went into his cabin early in the movie :scust:
the kid who played Agu was excellent by the end of the movie the demeanor he had was that of a man. I really liked the ending as well
all those kids playing in the water while in earlier scenes he'd be sittting in the beach pondering he decided I'm going to try to enjoy the rest of my life and find some sort of happiness with the time left I have on earth :mjcry:
Smh this guy could've been making the IT movie

How is Liberia now?

It's straight for now. That whole Ebola thing was started by the Americans and euros that went there to "help" the people way before the outbreak that happen last summer. Remember that? And too much fukkery going on what my folks been talking about that a another "war" might pop off cause ppl are acting retarted (what I mean is silly squabbles) and Chinese and Indians are going there to build infasturctue but they are only their for their own interest and not for the Liberian people. I tell my folks this but they are pretty much c00ns n think they are going there to help the people. They ain't listening to anything I tell them. Liberia is very complicated and I think the only people that can fix that country are African Americans... When that code of conduct come through.

Just finished this. Movie was depressing as fukk ya'll :wow:

Ending was piff to me. Idris falling off the wayside like the bytch made muhfukka he is once the crew dumped him. These larger than life people are only as powerful as their followers allow. Without them he wasn't even a factor. Dude pulled out all the tricks in the book trying to break the kids. Truly a diabolical individual. Man at the end when Agu is talking to the counselor thinking, "I got the mind of an old man. She's just a little girl" :wow:

Not gonna lie I had some tears when Strika died. When they put the palm leaf on him and his little boots sticking out:mjcry:

Which one of you Coli brehs is this
Ashamed to admit I chuckled :snoop:

Cant lie Idris accent was a bit noticeable compared to everyone else:jbhmm:

His accent was a little off - you could definitely still hear some Hackney in there, but a bunch of mannerisms in his performance reminded me of uncles and some of the older heads in the family. The constant questions ending with "Heh? :birdman:", for one...

I thought his performance was great. But yea there was some Hackney in there every now and then.

I've been watching the show Strike Back On Demand. Dude who played Adebisi/Mr.Eko played a similar character. Think he could have been good in this role as well :ehh:

Idris was still great though.

Adebisi raping grown men in Oz and then raping kids in this would have made him top 5 most demonic actors of all time.

That's a hell of a thing to be typecast as.

:why: You do know that not everyone who lives in Africa is malnourished, right?
