I'm a Pan African and think that trying to divide Black People is weird but if you're concerned about Lineage and Family History some people are gonna dip and have children abroad.

Tariq randomly DQ'ed Drake using a straight Blood and Soil argument to small hat Vlad.

So if you have to be both have FBA parents and be born here then Martin Lawrence is not FBA ( born in Germany)

See how weird it gets many many FBAs have been stationed and birthed kids overseas some full Black like Marty Mar and some half Black and just like Drake don't meet the new Blood and Soil definition that Riq did to make Drake literally "not like us"

You're being purposely obtuse. Being a military baby and coming back to the states and growing up here absolutely means you are FBA.

It's literally in the term Foundational Black American. It's blood and soil.

Drake while connected blood wise is not soil wise and that's evident.
Tether is a verb, not a noun per se. Having a non FBA parent whose Black doesn't automatically make you a tether. The action does. :stopitslime:
I'm not sure why yall posting these disingenuous arguments here. Yall know what it is.

we're posting this because the whole thing is stupid and opinion based.

First it was just lineage and a while back ADOS people in say Nova Scotia were FBA. Which brings up another point If someone dipped to Canada to escape slavery all of sudden they're not FBA because they "fled" but the snitching ass sellout c00n who stayed on the Plantation is A OK.

Secondly you can be white as snow but one drop of FBA blood and born here you're in.

Born here of one FBA parent and one non FBA you're good until you piss off someone then you're a tether.

FBA moves overseas for reasons and they have a kid overseas suddenly not FBA no other group of people does this.

Finally if Tether isn't someone who's Black of any foreign decent simply because you disagree with them what does that mean?

Tariq called Roland Martin a "Tether" because is great great grandparent was Haitian. Most people don't know where they're great great relatives are from so they're could be a lot of so called FBA's around who are not FBA based on that definition.

shyt Tariq questioned the heritage of all Black people from Loiusiana because a bunch of Haitians moved there or where brought there when the Haitians won their freedom.

Then there' s the Samana Americans FBA people who moved to the DR under the invitation of the Haitian President (mainly because any FBA at that time could be captured and made a slave like the Man in 12 years a slave) Some of them stayed and some moved back after the civil war are the ones that moved back especially if they were born in the DR tethers or FBA?

Finally Tether is a term for someone Black who talks down or undermines FBA in any way. Tell me could Dangote do anything to a FBA person? I just saw a youtube that talked about how the Wayans family was kinda Blacklisted from Hollywood several times.

Fox backdoored them in Living Color by fukking with their syndication and Weinstein basically stole the Scary Movie Franchise from them.

Tell me a time where a Foreign Black person ever took something from an FBA person directly like got them Blacklisted or something.

(Slightly obscured by the surfeit of adverts.)

The too long didn't read version is If a Slave "fled" slavery and went to England, Canada, Mexico, Sierra Leone, Liberia, or the DR and those FBA sent to the West Indies for being too rebellious said Well I could leave and be free but If I did that I wouldn't be able to be called FBA 200 years in the future so I'll stay here in bondage Remember before 1860 and the fugitive slave act you could be a slave if a cracker said you were one. up until that time no Black person outside a few abolitionists believed that slavery would be over in their lifetimes.

So it was either stay and be a slave or run and be free.

One other thing if tether is a verb not a noun could someone be a tether at some point and an ally at another point and vice versa? could they flip back and forth based on the situation just like all people tend to be moral at certain times and not other times?

It’s a classic case of it should be like me.

If one of those FBA Inc. people had a foreign grandparent but their father’s lineage was vertically homogeneous. Then they would say it’s about having your father’s lineage being homogeneous. Same shyt with people talking about other types of loose definitions like what a real nikka is, who is black and not, what’s gay :dame: etc

I fukk with Pan Africanism, but there is an example at least of explicitly this that I only learned about recently (through this board no less):

I agree in spirit with what you are getting at though. FBA/AADOS identity matters as a distinct lineage with its own culture and claims, just as African ethnic groups have theirs. At the same time, we can still organize around our shared African heritage.

The goal should be solidarity without erasing lineage.
