It's not a political thought, it's a LGBTQ ideology.
For example Dwayne Wade's kid came out as transgender at 12. They said they knew they were trans at age 3.
If a 12 year old is allowed to decide they're transgender, it's not far fetched to say they're allowed to consent to sex.

You're missing the point. Different or not, letting children make those types of permanent, life altering decisions (surgery) for self sets a precedent.

Parents are allowed to circumcise their sons at birth when the child can't consent, so why cant they get them gender reassignment surgery also without their consent using your logic
