the thing about relationships is people like to pretend they're something better than they actually are. relationships are symbiotic in nature. you enter them because a person meets your standards, you find them desirable, and they meet your needs and the other person enters the relationship with you for the same reason. when the person you're in the relationship no longer fills those needs the relationship ends that alone is very self centered.
when someone says a job and a car shouldn't be a requirement why shouldn't it be? there are plenty of good people you right now wouldn't give the time of day because they don't meet your standards. maybe they weigh too much, or they're too short, or don't look good enough, or aren't tall enough and these are in many cases physical things they didn't choose for themselves and can't help or change. these things have nothing to do with their character in most cases.
you're full of shyt if you're gonna act like there's something wrong with eliminating a person over a job and a car but not over physical shyt when clearly a person has more influence over having a job and car than they do with physical appearance they were born with.
i don't fault anybody for rejecting me for any reason under then sun. that's how the game goes. they same way i can reject i can get rejected. i'm not gonna try to put a negative stigma of a word like materialistic on that rejection to shame someone. especially if its over something basic like a job and a car.
