The Earth is roughly only about 5,000-6,000 years old

I also believe that the earth is older than what the Bible says, tho alot of it is true. We just have a different understanding of time.

The world wasn't created in seven days, it took many millions years for his creations to evolve into what they are today. Millions of years passed before we evolved to a point where we could comprehend any of this.

There are actually multiple impact craters here on this planet that show evidence of very large strikes. Some even supersede the size of Chixculub. The thing is....the Earth has an atmosphere so they get eroded away. However, you can still tell they are there thanks to remnants of the shape, iridium in the crater.

If you need proof of things like this..look at the moon, which is littered with craters due to not having an atmosphere. The original footprints from the original moon landing are still there as a matter of fact. Now, let's think logically. If the moon caught all those asteroid hits....you think the Earth didn't? The Earth has more gravity than the moon so we would have easily attracted larger asteroids. To deny this you might as well deny that Jupiter took a hit with Shoemaker Levy and proof abounds of that. The Universe is dangerous.
