I had encounters with aliens and also spirits visited me as a child. They were the good people. I've always suffered from insomnia, still do, and would sometimes walk the school soccer field nearby to meet but I would always wake up in my bed. I remember having to wipe the dew and grass from shoe soles before the morning not to alert my parents. As I got older the visitors went away. And the memories weren't as clear but I remember flying, technology, could communicate telepathically, and their mission to help humanity and the universe as there was some sort of war. They looked liked like us, melanin rich people, but with weird eyes, wider and all black. They would answer my questions in my head. Now, I hardly dream anymore unless I toke or exercise a lot.
My childhood friends had the same experiences and were afraid to tell people. We didn't share these stories until we were much older. Ironically all of our maternal grandmothers and great grandmothers were either native or root doctors of some sort and we are quintessential weirdos not matter how hard we tried to fit in. Later found that my favorite maternal cousin had the same experience after he was drunk one night during a convo. He said the aliens no longer came but he sees spirits all the time. Think there is a lot that is hidden and people are afraid to speak out in fear of being labeled or being taken to kid shrink and having their Alphie Robot toy confiscated.
