I love you, you know.
I would react by attempting to determine inter-species mating is possible.

You been reading too much lovecraft. And I never thought I'd say that.I remember one of my science teachers saying that if aliens existed they most likely wouldn't look humanoid. Probably look like some crazy nightmarish shyt like eldritch abominations.![]()
Well I wouldn't go as far as to say that we will go extinct as a species once we can tap into our full intellectual potential, it's likely not definite. What I'm wondering is what if these aliens just have greater intellectual capability than we do? What if there wasn't ever any catastrophic events that happened on their planet that could cause them to go extinct or encounter any kind of dark age? And they don't even have to be super humans they could be identical to us even our intelligence but if they got all of the time that their planet has been in existence to develop then they could really enlighten us or easily destroy us.Y'all keep thinking aliens are gonna be this incredibly complex and intelligent society that can communicate through entire galaxies and can travel vast distances in seconds.
Put that into perspective.
We will go extinct as a species before we get tech that even comes close to that. We will hit a technological singularity before we create things that defy today's physics, And at the same time be applicated in a useful, safe manner. (I.e teleportation (inner and interplanetary) and spaceships capable of safe for human, light-speed travel)
We rarely even find planets with Nearly as many sustainable resources that earth has.
I'm sure they exist, statistically speaking, but y'all are getting too imaginative with how smart they are gonna be.
Question might be why would they want to do either?Well I wouldn't go as far as to say that we will go extinct as a species once we can tap into our full intellectual potential, it's likely not definite. Same reason why America invades and exploits weaker countries. Maybe they would've advanced passed that whole "conquer the world" attitude that humans (or maybe just white people?) have. This is just conversation that I'm having on my lunch break btw don't mind me sweetie.Question might be why would they want to do either?
that's a very optimistic view of things, because while a situation like that is theoretically possible, a civilization like that could have came and went before the earth itself came into the picture.Well I wouldn't go as far as to say that we will go extinct as a species once we can tap into our full intellectual potential, it's likely not definite. No, no hate or nothing, i'm a friendly. I'm just asking why would they even bother with us considering our behavior. Unless they're the mother plane that the Prophet referred to.Same reason why America invades and exploits weaker countries. We're in a thread about aliens I assumed we would be able to talk about unlikely scenarios my bad boo.that's a very optimistic view of things, because while a situation like that is theoretically possible, a civilization like that could have came and went before the earth itself came into the picture.
It's really a hopeful outlook to think we'd be vastly less intelligent and tech savvy than our alien neighbors
The picture you're painting is literally a best case scenario for another life form
A Perfect planet, with no catastrophic events that houses a civilization long enough to teleport across the galaxy
It's more likely we'll find exceptionally complex bacteria at this rate we're going
Oh read that in Clayton bigsby's voice.I'd ask Um how they deal with cacs on their planet.
Cacs? O lawd.
- how much time ya got buddy. The last time we had a problem we sent them to earth
