Between our own governments peddling misinformation, doing everything they can to profit from the response to treatment/vaccination, individual state governments not honoring their own stay in place guidelines, and everybody else refusing to coopoerate they are making the response to this worse and many people are going to die as a result.

I honestly think it would be worse under Obama. Not because of anything he’d do, but because of a certain segment of the population’s reaction to anything he did.
He’d be like hey guys, if we shut down for about 3 weeks in January, we can avoid 2020 being an unmitigated shyt show. And about 13-15 governors would tell him to go fukk himself, then get on TV and talk about how they stood up to socialism. Then in March, shyt would get real and the death toll would sky rocket. Then they’d blame him for not doing enough and simultaneously say it was all a ploy to get re elected, while still not shutting down. And ain’t no way in hell they’re passing any of them stimulus bills.
