HTC and Sony automatically get the axe for those ridiculous bezels :scust:

The G3 is ok, but LG decided to gimp the 16GB version so they get points deducted and their UI is utter feces. They should go the Motorola route and just let Google do the heavy lifting. I like their aesthetics though, so the G4 is probably the only android phone I'm looking forward to. Maybe I wanna see what Samsung manages to come up with since they gutted out their design team.

I hate the fact that qualcomm is basically the intel of the mobile phone game, Apple is just shytting on everyone from great heights. The 810 wont even match the A8 in performance :scust:

That A9 in the 6S+ though :banderas:I'm gonna end up shelling out 1k for a phone come September.

Have fun with that, iOS 8 is buggy as shyt though. I constantly have to close the messages app and reload. On top of that, none of the 3rd party keyboards really work well just yet.

You iNerds will never admit that your OS is locked and stale as fukk. Being buggy on top of that is not a good look. Luckily the iPhone is not my main phone and just a tester.

Why the insult breh? I've never been an iNerd :rudy:

I've got a G2 and a 1+1, both running 5.0.1 which is more buggy than iOS8. I'll admit that iOS is locked, but you can't deny the performance of the 6 and 6+.

Don't know who told you the battery life on the Nexus 6 was bad or the camera was sub-par but you were wrongfully informed.

I can understand if the price tag is too much for you but everything that people speculated about before it's release was fairly incorrect. And none of the original benchmarking done was accurate since the software wasn't optimized for Lollipop and didn't represent real world usage.

:manny: Outside of application crashes (not yet 5.0 compatible) I've had none of those issues with my N6.

Same soc as the note 4 and the note takes better pictures with much better battery life. The Nexus 6 isn't a bad for @ $400, but @650? Nah. If you wanna play in the big leagues you have to bring your A game. The N6 isn't getting ripped apart for it's price, it's the huge jump in price, but the luke warm jump in performance that has most people on edge.

Not that I don't see where you're coming from about the bezels on HTC's and Sony's flagship phones, but you're also talking about switching to iPhone, which has pretty big damn bezels all its own

Well there's a home button and there's the whole symmetry aspect, and you can't deny that Touch ID works really well, so apple is gonna be keeping that home button for a while until they find something that works just as well or better.

Sony and HTC both have software buttons, there's no excuse.

Don't listen to these clowns
Android stans will swear up and down thier phones have no problems.
They will blame one brand/phone and then tell you get another which has its own set of problems :mjlol:

Make the switch
You won't be happier :obama:

I think I read somewhere that HTC was claiming the bezels allow for more internal stuff (probably related to the speakers and battery). I'd bet Sony would say the same, especially considering the relatively huge battery in the Z3. I don't like big bezels either, but both phones have pretty damn good battery life along with sizable screens, so I'd say the space isn't exactly going to waste. Meanwhile, the battery life on the 6 (specifically the 6, not the 6 plus) is the same or marginally better than the 5S, which isn't really worth bragging about.

I know, I know, Touch ID and symmetry, but at the end of the day, iPhones have pretty massive bezels, which make them feel much larger than their screen sizes suggest

Anyway it honestly sounds like you've already convinced yourself you want a 6 or 6 plus and are just working backwards from there. Which is fine. And I'm saying that as someone whose current daily driver is a 5S, who's looking to replace it and is comfortable with iOS or Android. I've been disappointed with damn near every flagship phone this year for some reason or another

HTC One M8 - Lackluster backside camera
Galaxy S5 - Not a fan of TouchWiz and flagship price for a phone that doesn't feel or look like it
LG G3 - Battery life and performance issues; not a big fan of their skin either
Xperia Z3 - Only available on T-Mobile or full price unlocked
Note 4 - TouchWiz and worrying about updates
Nexus 6 - Too big for my tastes
iPhone 6 - Battery life not significantly better than the 5S
iPhone 6 Plus - Big bezels make the phone feel more unwieldy than its screen size suggests

To be fair, I'd probably say 2014 has too many good choices, but none that are far and away the winner, which makes choosing one that much harder. But I'm leaning towards either the Note 4 or the iPhone 6 or 6 Plus personally

I'm switching to jobs gang full time :sas2:

This year's flagships were all lacking in some form. Note 4 with garbage touchwiz, $650 for a Nexus with mediocre camera and battery life, Moto X??? Motorola disgusts me :scusthov:
Except you got wack ass Iphone bendy phones and a weak look for any man really in general.

I already have an unlocked 6[which people are offering to take off my hands], nice hardware, but iOS does nothing for me personally as far as a mobile OS goes. I'd have to jailbreak to get the experience I really want; something I'm getting tired of doing on both operating systems. You're right, the battery life on the 6 isn't that great which is why if I do hop on iOS next year it's gonna be the 6S+. I just wish there was a flagship on android that wasn't compromised in some form.

As for the bezels, I can tolerate them on a 6+ due to the home button+touch ID combo. The phone being super thin, even with a case is a plus. HTC and Sony have no excuse as LG has been killing the size to screen ratio with all 3 flagship having software buttons. Even Samsung manages thinner bezels with hardware buttons. It's ridiculous.

I have a 6+ and love it. I'm posting from it now. You don't even need a tablet anymore.

And ios8 is fine. I dunno what's wrong with liquid's phone but my shyt runs perfectly fine.

Jobs gang :win:
