How would playing on maybe the most underperforming team in sports history during the regular season help him look better than Jordan?

Even if the Lakers end up winning the championship (which I HIGHLY doubt they do, but for argument's sake), they'd just be doing what a lot of people expected them to do in the first place. I hope we're not all going to act like the Lakers weren't the majority favorite to come out of the Western Conference at the start of the season anyway.
