Assuming homosexual behavior is the result of some genetic mutation and not a choice, that mutation shouldn't continue down through generations because being homosexual decreases your likelihood of passing on your genes to your offspring.
Basically, it defies evolution.
But it continues to happen.

The more I think about this, the less I'm convinced that homosexuality is a genetic trait, or at least a genetic mutation.
Edit: Eh, thought about it some more. Could have been a mutation from tens of thousands of years ago that was suppressed due to social pressure and therefore was given a chance to propagate through our population I suppose.
