getting your dikk sucked is biologically unnatural and serves no purposeNope, it's biologically abnormal behavior for most animals. Even animals will go in on one of the pack who doesn't obey the customs or rules. Monkeys will attack a member who finds food and tries to hide it. Wolves attack any other member besides the the alpha male and female who tries to breed. Hell, lions will drive off other pride members just for acting strange. In the wild, you can't afford to feed someone who might have some disease or mental illness that might make it difficult to keep your herd moving. You can't waste energy on someone who can't potentially pass on genes. There are some species that tolerate gay members like penguins, but for the most part that's not how it goes down.
All that is moot in a modern society since we don't face the same kinds of hardship anymore, but don't pretend like it's not something innate in human beings.
the entire concept of dressing isn't natural
Being straight is the norm in most parts of the world mostly because men and women are the only ones who can have babies together. Religion can not be blamed for this. I know lots of non religious people who are homophobic.Same reason why masturbation is shamed - religion.
getting your dikk sucked is biologically unnatural and serves no purpose
yet human males enjoy it and other humans are inclined to do so
bringing up the wild to prove heteronormativity is so silly in these discussions because not every act in the wild serves an ultimate goal
monkeys fling shyt at each other and my male dogs do gay shyt to each other sometimes
living beings often do things because they feel like it
In the 80s, there was a slew of studies, especially once AIDS really started taking off number wise, that stated that homosexual activity carried a higher risk of std infection than heterosexual activity. People viewed these studies as informational and plain old common sense at that time. Today, it would be viewed as homophobic and oddly none of them ever get cited. It's almost like somebody wants this country to sexually go down the tubes.
Also, it doesn't provide the opportunity for reproduction.
Believe that religion is the reason homosexual carries shame brehs!
Also, if you bring up homosexuality in the animal kingdom, spare me. Dogs clean themselves with their tongue clean into adulthood and have to be forced to take a bath. I just jumped out of the shower. Nobody forced me to do it. And I've never licked myself clean. Does not compute.
Do you brehs and brehettes but just because you're doing something doesn't instantly make it natural.
you can be repulsed by anything from mustard to afros, doesn't make your repulsion "correct". Just a psychological quirk. We're animals, we still do animal shyt. Being repulsed by gay behavior is natural just like flinging poo. The poster I replied to made the comment that it's about religion. I stated with examples that it's a part of our biology.
Right and wrong is another subjective expression.OP, anything that exists is NATURAL. Does it make it right? Nah.
I have always believed that it is. Where the lines become blurred is that there seems to be two different types of homosexuality.I always wondered if being gay is a mutation.
this is an overly simplistic answer. Go look at porn habits on psych Ted talk on YouTube. It's not necessarily masturbation that's the issue its porn. I even admit it as a person who watches porn, I'm trying hard to get rid of the habutSame reason why masturbation is shamed - religion.

correct. There's so many ways to distinguish between right and wrong answers. So many philosophies that have been adopted to explain what are moral acts. The idea that there are natural rights and wrongs is literally one explanation of hundreds.Right and wrong is another subjective expression.

1. There are those who had completely normal childhoods and just always had attractions to the same sex, even after trying to have straight relationships in their teen years.
And
2. There are those who had traumatic experiences (molestations, rapes, etc) that disrupted their sexual development and maturation and their views on sexuality as a whole.
The gay people I have known are all in the first category, while the stereotype that society usually imagines with the drag queens and feather boas and the lisps, etc probably usually falls in the second category.
So when people ask if it's nature or nurture, it could very well be both.
No young kid is ashamed of being a virgin only adults n thats cause its unnaturaljust how male virgins are being shamed for not having sex even tho being a virgin is natural
if some idiots think that their way of living is the "right choice", they will shame you, whether or not what you're doing is shameful.
like shaming vegans
and if you don't understand why gay people come out, I'm worried about your understanding of socialization.
