There are a few benefits to being tall but being tall(at certain points) is overrated. It can and does cause more problems:

Health is the most common because 90% of tall men don't have the genetic characteristics to support their height. Height is a genetic mutation that abnormally stretches the bones. Bone density becomes crucial as one gets older, thus the reason why tall men generally have back and ligament problems in old age(being too heavy for frame). For tall and lanky men, they can't or have trouble building muscle (which many women like whether they admit it or not). The only benefits are social(women who overrate height) and reach.... who needs to reach something higher than 6'0-6'4(Men between 5'8 and 5'11 can do this with ease)?

Financially, it costs more to be taller. In the extreme cases, everything has to be custom made, especially clothing; generally everything a tall person wears must be altered. Good luck finding pants and jeans with a 36-38 inch inseam! What about cars? I'm 5'11 and I have to have a mid-size sedan/truck/SUV because compact cars are a PAIN to get into! Be 6'4 and drive a Toyota Prius, bruhs!
