What are some examples of or good and bad voices to y'all?

I used to think Meek, Freeway, and Predi had bad voices til I got used to them..

I can't think of any great voices...I guess Biggie's is the most iconic one

Peedi Crakk has a great rap voice.

Voice-wise? Every new school rapper with the exception of ASAP Rocky has a shytty voice to me. Drake got better with his voice as time went on. J Cole's voice is flat and dull as fukk. Kendrick just plain sucks. Leek Lill is one of the woat.

Jay's voice is way better than Kanye's. In fact, Jay-Z's voice is good all things considered. Especially when he hit that Vol 2 era.

too short it's very distinctive and flows so perfectly to the beat.

Ice cube voice is very direct. Those opener lines always classic and sets the tone of the song.



Meek mill shyt gives me a fukking headache.

Drake and cole both can get monotone, but I'd say cole more. Also Kendrick can be a irritating at times.

This shyt is so subjective. Like most things music but a lot of people will love he voice of somebody you are annoyed with

Kendricks voice and the uniqueness of it is one of his strengths to me. Doesn't annoy me like it does some people

Big Sean has no energy and sounds hella boring on the mic. As far as his actual voice, I describe it as too "feminine".

Fabolous kinda has the same problem. Too laidback and low energy. I don't understand the hate Meek gets. I love his energy on the mic.

Mase is better than anyone on that list by far. Yes he was low energy and monotone (and in most cases that's a sign for disaster) but because he has a good natural voice, it works. His voice is very cool and stylish. The rest on your list don't have naturally good voices and nothing about their voice is cool.

At this point it's a matter of taste regarding Mase anyway. The same can be said for Roc Marciano laid back charisma which is kind of an oxymoron to me but it does exist.

Nevertheless some people's ear drums have more tolerance than others, the guys who shriek a lot cause mic distortion maybe it's bad sound engineering that is to blame too.

Maybe I'm confusing voice with delivery with regards to mase and Marciano. They don't have annoying voices they just lack soul to me.
