True. It's sad that it has to be stated then again, much of the rhetoric out there has soured many men in one way or the other, even with the other guy being worse. That said, I do find her doing this outreach interesting. It shows that the left realizes that some black men are pissed and among them, there are those that are so disenfranchised with the system that they are willing to watch the community topple and burn under racists, either as an act of revenge or as a means of reminding everyone that they concerns are worth noting.
I agree. I don’t like how folks ONLY reach out around voting time but I admittedly don’t know an entire lot about Stacey. That’s why I lead with my first post. I stand by ALL my posts but .. that one more than any. In this thread alone there are a lot of fed up black men .. that can’t be faked. Democrats have serious work to do. Black men and women have serious work to do.

She was already a experienced politician before she ran for governor. I think she was a member of the GA house since like 08 maybe 09 and she’s a black democrat running against a obvious racist white man. But the thing that has really endeared me to her is her amazing fight and passion against voter suppression, a tool white people have used against my people since they made us count jellybeans at the polls and the klan rode to scare my ancestors.
Even with my criticism of her, if I was in GA I would still vote for her.
Kemp is is Team ws and he needs to be removed.
If elected, Black ppl would need to lean on her and stay on her bumper. Make her address our interests as well as the best interests of Georgia overall in exchange for keeping the job.
This is a far better strategy then not voting at all.
It's better to apply pressure while they're in office and can achieve something rather than settling for "promises" that can easily be reneged on once elected.
It's more effective to threaten to take away something that someone has rather than something that they want and don't have.

At least 60% of eligible voters don't even vote. But somehow when folks lose they calling out the 10% to 20% of black folks (especially males) that voted, but didn't vote for the Democrat candidate that lost.

Someone make this make sense.

I like Abrams well enough but this is divisive nonsense. Black men can vote for her and she’d still lose big. because the white vote is not wavering down there. Biden is underwater, she’s got no chance. Stop blaming this on black men.
Georgia is gonna bring out all the white american men to vote GOP, a most white women too...she knows this is just her excuse for when she loses.

I think part of the problem is they think black men and women are suppose to be a package deal come voting time. . so if black women vote democrat .. black men are almost always expected to follow. .. aside from voting they don’t mind when there is division amongst us .. bananas.

Y'all want black politicians to reach out to black voters or just play the numbers game and reach out to white women? :pachaha:

No you missed the point entirely. Its 60% of eligible voters not voting. That means you are only getting 40% of eligible voters voting (no matter the race). Why are you focusing on a small percentage of voters who didn't vote for you.

When the bigger problem is you aren't saying anything or doing anything to get the majority of eligible voters to go out there and vote for you instead they rather stand on the sideline and not vote.

Thats the issue and has always been an issue with voting. They keep ignoring this huge lot of people that are eligible to vote and who are not even voting. And the eligible voters who are not voting numbers are probably higher than 60% because many check out on when its a local or state wide election (and only participate on national elections).

I just think they don't think big picture. There are more black eligible voters (just like other races) who don't vote than there are those who do vote. Yet they focus on a small percentage of those who voted, but didn't vote for them.

Instead of focusing on this huge number of people (more than the people who voted) who are not even participating in the voting process. They do this because they are lazy and don't want to look in the mirror and say what am I doing wrong to not be able to tap into these folks to make them want to participate in the voting process.

If black men need to be talked to into voting for a pro black candidate over a white supremacist. Well….

People are questioning her natural status but I'm over here wondering why 1 out 5 black males voted for Kemp over her last go round.

She was 17,000 voters away from a runoff election so yeah, she's playing the game smart trying to address that.

How are yall getting that she is blaming black men already?:mindblown:
This is why yall are so fukkin stupid.
She's at an event that her team put together to talk to black men (majority of the politicians NEVER do anything specifically aimed at listening to black men alone so its a step) and she says ill lose without black men.
Well guess what if she goes to an event at a college she'll say without the youth vote ill lose. An event at Las Quesidillas and Margaritas-without the Latin vote ill lose.
An event at @AVXL Don't Hide Your Pride Bar and Grill-without the LGBTQAYTI vote ill lose.

That's politics. Thats politicians. Thats not gonna change.
So instead of coming up for reasons not to vote for her already, realize she can't do the things that yall say she's not gonna do unless you vote for her. Aint even gonna give her a chance to fail you, instead let a guy who's openly taking your rights away have an easier path, so next election nobody will even meet with anyone black cause black folk won't be able to vote.
And if you think I'm joking turn the page back 2 months with abortion rights and what the Supreme Court did. Everything is bout to be states rights and states rights aint good for black folk.

But whatever I dont live in Georgia so thats yall issue :hubie:
