This is not about what Rs DONT do for black people. We don’t put them in office.

What do the people we do put in office do for us?

Nobody answers the questions, because no one has an answer.

Really, they do not have to follow through on promises with us, because our major reason for voting for them is to keep the overt racists & fascists out of power. That is really all it comes down to, and so the side we vote for knows this. There will always be a reason after the election is over for why they could not follow through on their promises. We will always line back up and vote for them again, because we really have no valid other choice (outside of refraining from voting at all).

Voting will never give us what we seek. We have to use economics to do that, and part of that will require us to actually buy politicians. That is what other groups do. They buy the politicians by financially supporting their campaigns. We could do the same, but we are encouraged to just vote instead of purchase. All of these politicians from the measly city council member to the President of the US can be bought. We have to recognize that fact, and use our votes intelligently. We also have to use our finances through lobbying and supporting campaigns to actually get what we need and desire.

It costs money to get policies made in our favor, that is what many of the talking heads want to obscure from our people. They just want us to vote, but don't want us to also recognize that money is considered a political power too.

Does money equal power in American politics?

The power of capital is the same now as it was long ago and will be the same in the future as long as democracy is twinned with the capitalist mode of production where wealth and power is concentrated in the hands of a minority.
