This is a whole other discussion and it's been discussed in some thread here on the influence of Black Americans worldwide. My idea is that Black Americans created a very specific culture that has aspects of both Africa (preserved through generations since the first Africans were enslaved and sent there) AND Europe (due to living in the same country as Euros : despite slavery/segregation, culture navigated across borders). So basically they (you) have elements that link them to already two continents, making it "easier" to connect (the product still has to be good though). But that's not the most important. Most important imo is that Black Americans HAD to create a whole new culture (because most ties to Africa were nonetheless cut off by Euros) meaning they could explore stuff that other cultures (namely, Africa and Europe) could less, because there was (and still is) more cultural conservatism in other cultures. That's why imo Black Americans have always innovated in the fields of music, arts, "style", etc : they are not "held back" by thousands of years of history (contrary to for example Europe in particular, Africa somewhat). Afrofuturism, for example, could not have been born anywhere else imo.
Add to all that that Black Americans, despite everything, are Americans : meaning they speak english, the world's de facto lingua franca, and they benefit from American soft power. So everything made by Black Americans gets that automatic boost on the world market, just like any Hollywood movie automatically has more chances of being a worldwide blockbuster than say a Spanish movie. All in all I think these are some elements that could explain why Black Americans are so influential worldwide, but obviously someone closer to home will have more pertinent points than I can have as an outsider.
